Our friends at AmericanMuscle helped us document our build in three incredible stages that capture the total transformation of the MMD by Foose Mustang. All throughout the build, Chip and the MMD team worked closely together to create the ultimate 2015 Mustang. Stage 1 and 2 of the build focused on improving the performance and Stage 3 honed in on overhauling the entire look of the car. Below, you can see the MMD by Foose Mustang come together, one stage at a time!
The 2015 MMD by Foose Mustang was quickly transformed from a stock Ingot Silver automatic GT into a stunner, one-off master piece. MMD by Foose is not only a sleek and aggressive looking Mustang, but it also has the performance to match its looks. Stage 1 of the MMD by Foose build was focused on improving the performance of the stock GT. A carbon fiber driveshaft and upgraded halfshafts were added to support the power coming later in the build. A set of lowering springs were also added to improve handling as well as tie the overall aesthetic of the car together.
The 2015 MMD by Foose Mustang managed to seamlessly blend style and performance into one sleek package. Chip Foose and the MMD team strived to create a well-rounded and well-balanced Mustang that is true to the heritage and legacy of America’s favorite pony car. Stage 2 of the MMD by Foose build focused on building up the power of the 2015 GT. A Bama Performance Supercharger Kit boosted the crank horsepower to a staggering 810, and the rear wheel horsepower to a tire-shredding 650! A Magnaflow Competition Catback Exhaust was also added, giving the MMD by Foose Mustang the rumble it needed to make it sound like a classic muscle car.
Creating a work of art like MMD by Foose takes the culmination of a lot planning, hard work, and most importantly—passion. Stage 3 of the MMD by Foose shows the results of everything that went into creating this new, modern day icon. With the addition of the MMD by Foose chin spoiler, rear spoiler, rocker panel, hood scoop, side scoops, and quarter window louvers, the Chip Foose/MMD collaboration got the looks it needed to match its power. Before being unveiled at Chip Foose’s Huntington Beach, CA studio, Foose added some custom stripping to really set the looks of the Mustang off. After a lot of anticipation, the MMD by Foose Mustang was unveiled to mass applause, kicking off the giveaway contest!
The MMD Team was incredibly excited and humbled to work with Chip Foose on designing and creating the MMD by Foose Mustang. At the 2014 AmericanMuscle Mustang Show, Chip Foose helped MMD give away the 2014 Project MMD car. At the show Chip had also mentioned that he would return to the AmericanMuscle Mustang Show and would give away another Mustang. This year it was great to see Chip hand over the keys of our latest creation, the 2015 MMD by Foose, at the largest AmericanMuscle Mustang Show ever. Stay tuned to see what MMD comes out with next!
